April 19th, 2015, I had the opportunity to speak at a luncheon at Church at the Crossing in Indianapolis, In. Gretchen Holcomb from their Missions Ministry, contacted me about the event that they are bringing more awareness to their church about the topic of Modern Day Slavery / Human Trafficking.
I was very pregnant at that time with Elisha and due to deliver the next week. Thank goodness my husband came with me to support and drive the car. We arrived the night before, so it gave us time to relax and prepare.

Several other organizations were present as well. Their leaders formed a panel that was available for a Q & A session.
Each member of the panel sat at a different table during the small group segment of the event to help the audience brainstorm ideas of how to get involved.
Thank you to the team who put on such a wonderful event to raise awareness of human trafficking.
